Want to know the truth about how to boost your FICO scores?
Host Gerri Detweiler interviews Tom Quinn, a credit scoring expert who spent the last 15 years at FICO. He demystifies credit scores and separate fact from fiction.
Tom Quinn is a member of the Credit.com expert team. He brings to this role more than 20 years of experience with some of the biggest players in the world of credit, including FICO (Fair Isaac), Experian (formerly CCN/MDS), and Citibank.
Most notably, Quinn spent the last 15 years at FICO – inventors of the industry standard FICO scores – where much of his initial focus was on creating and delivering scoring and credit-related educational initiatives at a time when the public was just getting exposed to the concept of credit scores. He was later appointed to develop, launch and grow myFICO.com, FICO’s consumer-driven initiative to provide people with direct access to their FICO scores. In 2003, Tom was promoted to Vice President and managed the product, delivery, regulatory and client support functions for the Global Scoring Solutions division for FICO. He is a recognized authority on the inner working of credit scoring models and how consumer credit is used.

Hi Gerri, long time, no talk! Thanks for all your help and advice three years ago when I went through my bankruptcy. I was able to get my credit score up enough to buy a house last spring and also have put away over 10G in my 403B in the last 2 years. Also no credit card debt!! Congrats on your talk show and would like to listen to your podcasts but couldn’t get them to download. Any advice? Love to hear from you, Blessings!
